Many States Parties have the reality of the processes of ratification and implementation of the Framework Convention for the Control of FCTC Snuff, do not correspond with the clarity and relevance of measures to control supply and demand of snuff products incorporated into the Convention. In other words, many Parties to the Convention are weak in the implementation process, either because they have not legislated on the measures, which is serious (smoke-free environments, advertising bans, health warnings with pictograms, but taxes, etc..), or because the national law is under obligations in the context of the FCTC: health warnings without pictograms, allowing smokefree smoking spaces, partial bans advertising, among others. This weakness is often a result of the interference tobacco industry, through various strategies.
