Action Guide is a tool to strengthen collective efforts to challenge industry interference in public health. This year, the Guidelines focus on the recent victories based on article 5.3 and discusses the strategies of the industry to undermine the FCTC. In the main text of the Guide and in Appendix No. 6 for the presentation of cases related to Latin America.
You can use this Guide:
- Invite officials of his government to fully implement the comprehensive safeguards outlined in Article 5.3 guidelines in order to protect the health public interference from the tobacco industry.
- Encourage government officials to support the adoption of guidelines for effective COP4 Articles 9 and 10 12, 14, and
- Generate attention of media nationally and internationally on corporate abuses tobacco.
The IWR2010 strengthen the courageous work of advocacy of social organizations to the legislatures and government ministries to promote snuff control policies.
